Kids Eat Free is one of the most important marketing programs for restaurants in general nowadays. We created a promotion that combined the Kids Eat Free promotion and Valentine's Day, inviting parents to celebrate with their kids at McAlister’s restaurants, as a family, this special occasion. We received a great response and saw big numbers of families coming to dine with us on V's day.

During the second Quarter in 2016, McAlister's Deli faced the challenge of launching 3 new products simultaneously: Green Tea, the 2016 Tumbler and our Tumblr page. I created an Info-Graphic that served as the umbrella to bring the 3 conversations together to our guest. This structure allowed us to present this information in an engaging, informative way.

Choose 2 is a very popular option for McAlister’s customers given the amount of options they can create at a great price. These assets were created to promote a specific pairing during Q4 in 2017.

Each quarter McAlister's Deli brings 3 to 4 "Limited Time Promotions" to its customers as part of a strategy to improve and diversify the products offered throughout the year. These pieces were included in the package of materials used by the system of 400+ restaurants in Q4-2017.

Fast Casual Restaurant Menu Board POP
This multi-channel (print, digital and social) national campaign was strategically designed to increase download numbers of the McAlister's Deli app, while rewarding its guests and celebrating the opening of its 400th restaurant. The initiative was a total success and generated not just a big push for the McAlister's app but also great buzz among national media. The 400th Restaurant Campaign received 2 top awards at the Georgia PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) annual Phoenix Awards, The Phoenix Award, for the submission in the “Events or Observances (7 or fewer days) – Consumer Products” category, and received an Award of Excellence in the “Integrated Communications – Consumer Products – Retail Stores and Restaurants” category.

As part of the promotion for the McAlister's Bánh Mí, we invited McAlister’s fans to try the popular sandwich and share their best photo on Instagram. They used #WestCoastQuest to be entered for a chance to win a 3-night stay in Los Angeles, CA and the opportunity to try the best Bánh Mì that the city has to offer. We created a 3-day tour guide that included the best places to get this particular sandwich in LA and some other attractions. The promotion was a success, these are some of the assets we created to support the promotion.

Email marketing is one of the strongest digital platforms used by McAlister's Deli to grow its guest data base and to communicate with them. From new products to rewards, to grand openings and special celebrations, email marketing offers an intimate and direct way to reach out to their customer. I helped develop their email marketing platform from a creative stand point, ensuring their communications remained fresh, engaging and effective.

I worked with newspapers and magazines for several years. I had the opportunity to contribute to nationally well known, award-winning teams and sections, and I was challenged to create publications from scratch as well. I also had the opportunity of creating countless pieces of advertising for many clients and products. I have strong typography skills, I understand the importance of images, framing and composition, and I've learned that design should be engaging yet simple, informative yet fun.
